Planning board defers HDC boundary recommendations to December after request for plat maps

The Planning Board received a list of properties and corridors recommended by the Historic District Commission for addition to the historic-district overlay but agreed on Nov. 13 to defer any substantive action until its December meeting. Amanda (Speaker 6) read the HDC's suggested additions, which include corridors from Connecticut Avenue to Old Mill Road and specific properties such as the Barrington and Gustafsson properties.
Members said they need plot maps and lot plats to compare the overlay to parcels on the ground. Chair (Speaker 1) recommended waiting until the HDC submits parcel-level maps before the board takes up the item again.
Next step: the board will take the HDC's recommendations and the plat/lot maps up at its December meeting for review.
