Burrillville council grants Bravo Brewing a Class BD brewpub license at Pasco Main Street

The Burrillville Town Council on Nov. 18 approved a retail Class BD liquor license for Bravo Brewing Company at 75–81 Pasco Main Street after a public hearing where the owner said the change would allow the operation to function as a brewpub.
Chris Michie, identifying himself as the applicant and operator of Bravo Brewing Company, told the council he sought to “expand our current licensing a little bit from a manufacturer to a brewpub,” which would allow the business to offer some products not made in-house to customers. “This will greatly benefit…what our customers are getting,” Michie said, describing the change as a way to avoid shortages when house production runs low.
Town administration indicated support for the application. No opponents spoke at the hearing, and the council closed the public hearing before taking action. The vice president moved to grant the retail Class BD license; Mr. Trink seconded the motion, and the council voted in favor (Aye).
The license approval follows the council’s standard practice of requiring applicants to meet state and local compliance items before issuance. The public notice for the hearing ran in the legal section of the Woonsocket Call in November 2024, as required by the council.
