At the close of its public agenda the Glocester Town Council voted to convene an executive session under Rhode Island law to discuss potential litigation, including an opioid litigation update, collective bargaining, and personnel matters related to job performance and other employee considerations.

A motion to enter executive session pursuant to R.I. Gen. Laws 42‑46‑5(a)(2) (collective bargaining and litigation) and 42‑46‑5(a)(1) (personnel) was made and seconded; the council conducted the required roll call and recorded affirmative votes. The chair stated the session would address an opioid litigation update and collective bargaining; the meeting then proceeded into executive session.
