- Building-fund transfer: The board approved transferring an additional $322,093.28 to the building fund after receiving final state revenue numbers; staff said the transfer is required to keep the operating fund under the state 20% carryover cap. Mister Graham said the district may reallocate funds to teacher pay or student needs in the future.
- Property sale: The board authorized staff to advertise and accept sealed bids for a one‑acre parcel at 492 Pope Meeting House Road with bids due by noon on Aug. 30 and bids opened at 1 p.m.; the buyer would assume closing costs and award would occur at a subsequent board meeting.
- Personnel: The board approved the employment of Mythal Lewis as an ESL aide.
Each motion was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote (recorded as 4–0).
