Kristen Busby, described in the discussion as a certified, licensed athletic trainer working with the hospital, was noted to be available as part of a clinical rotation for roughly six weeks; staff said limited availability for game coverage may be possible depending on her schedule.
A board member moved to accept Mister Graham’s recommendation to contract with Howard Memorial Hospital; the motion was seconded and approved by the board (recorded as a 4–0 voice vote). The contract and the arrangement to obtain parental consents are the next steps following the vote.
