Elections staff also said they trained 377 election judges, completed over 10,000 voter-roll transactions, processed 8,800 absentee ballot applications (with strong activity in September–November) and recorded 6,660 absentee votes during the general election, representing 23% of votes cast in the county. Staff noted direct-balloting numbers as well and provided details on enhanced voting days and daily averages.
Commissioners thanked the elections team for what the board described as a successfully administered and intense election year.
