Board members moved and approved several routine appointments. By voice votes the board appointed county board members to serve on the EDA, designated the county attorney to serve as counsel for the EDA, and named the finance director as the EDA treasurer.
The board also approved prior meeting minutes from Dec. 7, 2023. Motions and seconds were recorded on the public record, and all of the listed organizational appointments passed by voice vote.
The meeting proceeded to department reports and budget items after the organizational business was complete.
