"The first one is to extend that lease termination, through 12/31/2027," Dowling said in his summary of the change, and added that staff recommended the board approve the amendment.
Commissioners thanked staff and the sheriff's department for their work on the negotiations. The motion to approve the amendment was made, seconded, and carried on a voice vote; no roll‑call tally is recorded in the transcript.
