Cabot High honorees: teacher Stephanie Wade and junior Alyssa Swofford recognized by board

The Cabot School Board opened public recognition for Cabot High School honorees during the meeting.
Principal Mike Fossinelli introduced teacher Stephanie Wade, who was selected as a staff honoree for leadership in career/CTE classes and for advancing inclusion of students sometimes described as "singletons" in the schedule. Fossinelli said Wade "loves her job, and she loves kids, and she builds relationships with kids," and noted she has led collaborations in the CTE department.
Fossinelli also presented student honoree Alyssa Swofford, a junior at Cabot High School. Alyssa briefly thanked her principals and teachers: "I would just like to, you know, thank my principals and my teachers because whenever I thought I didn't have a support system, I really did." Board members praised Alyssa's resilience and the role of staff in supporting her progress.
The board presented medallions to the honorees and encouraged members to visit classrooms and watch inclusion and PLC work in action.
