Coventry Council honors Parks and Recreation director Reyna Blumenthal as she departs after eight years

"I just I wish you the best," Lima said while presenting the proclamation, noting Blumenthal’s education and leadership.
Councilor Shockley praised Blumenthal’s enthusiasm and management of events, calling this year’s annual event “absolutely amazing” and thanking her for work done often with limited budgets. Vice President LeBlanc and Councilman Quoddy also thanked Blumenthal for her contributions and urged her to stay in touch.
Blumenthal accepted the recognition and thanked the council, town manager, staff and residents for eight years of collaboration. "I appreciate working with you, my staff and my peers in the town," she said, adding that she hoped she had made a difference.
The council’s remarks and the proclamation conclude Coventry’s formal recognition of Blumenthal; no formal action beyond the proclamation was recorded.
