At the July 29 meeting the Olivette City Economic Development Commission moved and voted to postpone the election of its officers until the next scheduled meeting on Sept. 30.
Commission Vice Chairman Nathan Zelensky made the motion to defer; the motion was seconded by Chairman Patterchuk. The commission completed a roll‑call vote with all present voting aye; Commissioner Spencer Talbot was recorded absent. Staff said elections and acceptance of minutes would be taken up at the Sept. 30 meeting when more members are expected in person.
The commission also deferred acceptance of two sets of meeting minutes that were not yet circulated to members, asking staff to email those documents and to include the minutes on the Sept. 30 agenda. No other formal actions were taken during the consent‑type items.
