The OLI VETTE City Planning & Community Design Commission held its annual officer elections during the Sept. 5 meeting and elected Robert Bridal as chair, Brian Lewis as vice chair and Sam Wallach as secretary.
Commissioners moved and seconded nominations and then voted. The chair election drew one abstention; subsequent votes for vice chair and secretary were recorded with the same voting pattern (the record shows motions passing 5–0 with one abstention where noted). The commission noted the officer terms are one year and will be revisited at next year's election.
The chair invited members to consider leadership opportunities in future years and encouraged new members to share perspectives that will inform planning policies and guideline updates, including the recently adopted 2024 comprehensive plan.
