The Oak Grove Board of Alderwomen approved its consent agenda and appointed David Worley to the Planning and Zoning Commission at a meeting Oct. 21.
The consent agenda, which included approval of the Aug. 16 meeting minutes, expenditures through Oct. 17 and the September 2024 financial statement, passed on a motion and voice vote. No members of the public addressed the board during the public-comment period.
Mayor Dana Webb introduced the appointment, noting Jim Boss resigned because he moved. The board was told David Worley works for Shaw Construction out of Bayt City. A motion to approve Worley’s appointment was made, seconded and approved by voice vote.
The action fills a vacancy on the Planning and Zoning Commission; the board did not set additional conditions or a term during the meeting.
The board moved next to other new-business items, including authorization for a parks truck replacement and an audit contract recommendation.
