Committee acts: concurrence, deferral and expunged vote to allow engrossment

Senator Wallace requested that SB 259 be deferred; the committee accepted that request and deferred the bill.
Later, to permit an amendment to SB 71 to be engrossed, the committee voted to expunge a prior committee vote on the amendment; the motion to expunge was seconded and the committee voted 'aye.' The chair recessed the committee and said consideration of SB 71 would resume after adjournment so those who had signed up could return to speak.
