Insurance commissioner introduces team and previews noncontroversial omnibus bill

McLean noted that some department bills have already cleared the governor's office to run and that other members may bring bills unrelated to the department's package. He emphasized the agency's availability to consult with legislators and staff on language and policy details.
No formal policy votes occurred on the bills during this organizational meeting; the agency's comments were introductory and intended to set expectations for forthcoming legislation.
