The Waukesha City Ordinance and Licensing Committee unanimously approved a slate of renewal applications at its March 24 meeting, recommending the items for administrative processing and consent on the council agenda.
The committee approved renewals for Alarm System Innovators Inc.; Arpanitas; Discount Liquor (class A beer and liquor retail license); Emergency 24 Inc. (private alarm system); Golden Gate Restaurant (class B beer-and-liquor combo license and jukebox); Grand Avenue Hometown (class A beer and cider); Nice Ash Cigar Bar (class B beer and liquor combo); Panos Fresh Market (class B beer and class A beer and cider); Summit Petro Inc. (class A beer and cider); Texas Roadhouse (class B beer and liquor combo); and I Combat (class B beer). The motion to approve was moved by Alderperson Wiggersen and seconded by Alderperson Halvinsleben; the committee vote was unanimous.
These routine renewals were handled together and will proceed through the clerk’s office and any related administrative steps before appearing on the city’s records. The chair said these items are typically placed on the council consent agenda and are not discussed individually unless a member raises a concern.
No public objections or substantive questions were raised during the committee’s consideration of the renewal list. The committee adjourned at 6:21 p.m.
