Staff member Ashley told the commission four properties would qualify for the 10‑year full rebate (including a detached accessory dwelling she recommended be counted as a new dwelling) and four remodels would qualify for the 5‑year maximum rebate. The addresses presented by staff were 819 E. Eighth St., 433 S. Sycamore, 3030 W. Eighth St. (a duplex) and 204 E. Thirteenth (detached accessory dwelling) for the 10‑year entries; remodel addresses included 318 W. Eighth, 616 N. Cherry, 207 S. Cedar and 808 S. Cherry.
Ashley presented an estimated city fiscal impact of roughly $42,726.90 over 10 years, with first‑five‑year payments about $5,031.73 and years six‑ten about $3,513.66 (city portion only). The commission approved the list by vote; the city manager and staff will coordinate with other taxing jurisdictions as part of program administration.
