Later in the same sequence, Unidentified Speaker 4 nominated Debbie Irix for vice chair; that nomination also received a first and second and was approved by the attending members.
The officer elections were procedural in nature and took place before the board opened a public hearing and substantive discussion on a minor subdivision and variance proposal at 410 South Main Street. Following the elections, the newly constituted board continued to review the subdivision request and the staff-summary of the variance criteria.
