Willard swears in new police officer Levi O'Neil

The Board of Aldermen introduced and administered the oath of office to Levi O'Neil, a newly hired police officer for the City of Willard.
During the short ceremony O'Neil repeated the oath affirming he possesses the qualifications required for the position and pledged to support, obey and defend the constitutions and laws of the United States and the state of Missouri and the ordinances and charter of the city of Willard. Staff noted O'Neil joined the city two-thirds of the way through his academy and has begun field training with a projected independent status in approximately a month to six weeks.
Mayor and board members congratulated O'Neil and welcomed him to the department.
