Council approves full-fleet golf-cart lease with trade-ins for Little Falls course

Council debated trade-in values and whether to sell units outright. Maintenance staff described a recurring wiring connector issue on older gas carts that occasionally requires on-course repairs; council members said having a uniform fleet reduces parts inventory and staff time. Staff noted approximately $100,000 exists in the golf equipment fund that could be applied to the lease.
The council approved the motion to trade 43 carts and lease 45 carts on a five-year lease with the option to trade in early (motion by Myers, second by Lutz); the motion carried.
