Council backs replacing aging chambers AV system with lower-cost plan

"Jasper has put together a plan for under 11,000, and he's looking for direction on how to proceed," Palfos said. Council members discussed camera placement, whether one large screen or dual screens was needed and the expected multi-year useful life. Palfos and council members said the new equipment should be serviceable for about five years and could save several thousand dollars a year compared with current outside-contract costs.
