The Gardner City Council adopted Ordinance No. 2819 to amend the legal description of land annexed along 190th Street in 2021.
Staff explained the prior deed did not account for a 20‑foot variation that is part of a neighboring property; the amendment corrects the legal description so county records and the city’s annexation records align. Staff said no new annexation agreement is required and the change is a housekeeping item to improve clarity in county records.
Council moved, seconded and adopted the ordinance by vote. The matter was described as administrative and noncontroversial.
