Stephen Tupper of the Cape Cod Commission summarized outcomes from the fourth round of public meetings, saying the study team has identified a draft preferred bridge type “which was identified as the twin arch style.” The conceptual cross‑section shown to the MPO calls for two adjacent bridge structures at each crossing, two travel lanes in each direction, entrance/exit lanes to manage merging, shoulders (conceptually 10‑foot right shoulders and 4‑foot left shoulders) and a shared‑use pedestrian and bicycle path cantilevered from one of the structures.
