Scurry County presented and accepted a series of modest donations to county programs and placed certified revenues and several budget amendments on record.
Staff reported donations to the senior center, youth center and library and noted a certified revenue of $1,000 for use of voting machines and other smaller receipts. Budget amendments discussed included transfers for county-clerk equipment, sheriff’s department equipment purchases and road-and-bridge maintenance lines; staff described a separate amendment to cover water-damage costs at the annex.
A commissioner moved to approve the county auditor’s August monthly financial report, and the court voiced approval. Accounts-payable totals were announced before the court adjourned.
The transcript records the report and the court’s voice approval, but it does not include a roll-call tally of votes.
