Commissioner Williams moved to approve the bid specifications and advertising as presented; the motion was seconded and passed 5‑0. Staff said the drawings will be available with the bid package and the county will accept bids in the purchasing office on the scheduled date.
The court discussed sequencing (finish coliseum repairs and then reallocate funds as available) and asked purchasing to coordinate schedule and budget tracking. The county identified ARPA funds as the preferred funding source and said additional general‑fund or fund‑balance support may be necessary depending on bid outcomes.
