The county plans to refine the RFP to include a clause requiring compliance with local, state and federal law, and to clarify notification and change-order procedures if site conditions differ from prior reports.
Next steps: staff will refine the draft RFP, consider whether remediation should be contracted separately, and circulate updated language to the board for final approval and advertising.
