Commissioner (mover) presented the motion to accept Staley Engineering’s bid less the funding-evaluation line. The motion was seconded and approved by voice vote; commissioners said “aye,” and the chair declared the motion carried. The county clerk will sign the contract after Staley returns a revised agreement reflecting the reduced $17,100 total.
The board also directed staff to circulate the revised contract to commissioners by email and to withhold signatures until the language is finalized. The contract lists deliverables including needs assessment, prioritization of projects and a website/survey outreach option to gather public input as part of the CCIP process.
The action is procedural: the board approved the scope change and authorized execution once the contractor submits a revised contract. No additional county funding appropriation was announced at the meeting.
