Kinetic reported Patty Wetterling has agreed to chair the campaign committee and that the firm and committee are assembling donor lists and subcommittees focused on individual donors, small businesses and foundations. The consultant told the council it wants to earn any future contract-extension recommendation by meeting concrete benchmarks and said it will work alongside committee members on solicitations.
Councilors questioned contract matters and whether previously raised contract issues had been resolved; the consultant said those matters are "in process" and that Kinetic is being "very agreeable." No formal council action on the consultant's contract was recorded at the meeting.
