Frio County canvasses November election results

Frio County's Elections Administrator Sylvia Santos presented the county's certified final general election canvas, stating the Secretary of State accepted the certified copies and final results uploaded by the county.
Santos said she was submitting the final canvas report as mandated by Section 67.003 of the Texas Election Code and noted the certified copies of vote totals and related documents had been uploaded to the Secretary of State. Commissioners moved to accept and to sign the canvass documentation; the motion carried.
The court recorded no challenges on the floor during the canvassing item. County staff said the signed documents would be returned after the judge's signature and processed with the Secretary of State.
