She initially stated the number of 18-year-old voters as "128," then later in the exchange said "28" in response to a clarification question from the bench; the record contains that inconsistency and the county did not reconcile it on the spot during the meeting. The court recorded the canvass acknowledgement by voice vote.
Hudson said election workers and party chairs were instrumental in conducting the election and reported that a state inspector visited several polling locations during early voting; she said she had received no adverse reports from the inspector as of the meeting.
The commissioners moved to acknowledge the completion of the canvass; the motion passed by voice vote. The Elections Administrator and the court did not provide a roll-call vote tally in the public record.
