Commissioners said Reeves will serve Lavaca County and Colorado County as a part‑time employee, with an office placed on the annex’s first floor to ensure ADA accessibility.
The judge invited veterans attending the meeting to join for a group photo following the appointment. The court did not set additional budget details for the position during the meeting; staff follow‑up and office setup were discussed informally.
