Staff said the county is waiting for an electrician from the generator vendor (Steady Power) to provide an installation quote and for vendor Massey to coordinate with the county. Staff described the cost of components as "about $2,500" but said total labor and installation costs were unknown.
Public comment earlier in the meeting also raised concerns about recent design changes to a GLO-funded radio project and the appearance of preferential treatment toward LCRA; that comment was recorded during the public-comment portion and not formally acted on at the time.
What the court decided: Commissioners moved to table the addendum until staff provides a firm cost estimate and installation plan and then report back to the court. Staff committed to obtain a vendor quote and present a combined cost for the quick-connect retrofit during the project’s construction phase.
