GONZALES, Texas — The Gonzales County Commissioners Court held a regular meeting in December 2024 and approved routine and administrative items including minutes, procurement awards, subdivision variances and official bonds and oaths.
The court approved the minutes for the Nov. 25, 2024 meeting and accepted the county clerk's report of fines and jury fees filed under Government Code §51.402. County staff provided an update on drought conditions and a burn-permit issued over the weekend.
Procurement and budgets
Commissioners awarded low bids for unbranded gasoline, highway diesel and dyed diesel for Road & Bridge Precincts 1–4 to On-site Fuel LLC. The court also approved a $15,000 survey order for the annex building, the jail and roughly five acres to obtain an updated property survey prior to planned work.
