The proposal also calls for benchmarking other districts and evaluating regional implications so Elmbrook would not be an outlier with unintended impacts on co‑curricular schedules.
Solicitation for committee membership was scheduled to begin immediately, and board leadership will present a membership slate for board approval at the next regular meeting. The administration said the committee’s work would include modeling alternative calendars and start‑time scenarios and delivering recommendations to the board for final action.
