Staff (Mr. Rosales) said the city ordinance requires separate 15‑day notices for PNZ and council public hearings but that council has discretion under the code section cited to shorten or modify the notice period; the request came from the two MUDs to streamline review and avoid a two‑month delay that would otherwise occur under the meeting schedule.
Council members discussed timing and substance. Staff said the Wildwood MUD matter is likely to affect only a small number of property owners near the Travis County line and that Ironwood is tied to the development-agreement work the council directed earlier. Councilmember Meyer moved to approve the combined notice approach and council voted unanimously.
The action was logged as Resolution R-2024-186 on the meeting agenda; staff will publish the combined notice and proceed to the joint hearing on the scheduled date.
