Court closes a section of County Road 2906; approves multiple plats and replats
Summary
Following a public hearing with no public attendees, the Commissioners Court closed 0.2 miles at the end of County Road 2906 and approved several plats and replats including Town Creek Estates and Oakcrest replat requests.
The Anderson County Commissioners Court recessed to hold a public hearing on closing two-tenths of a mile at the end of Anderson County Road 2906. No members of the public were present to comment. Commissioner (speaker 7) said Texas Parks and Wildlife advised and that landowner Cliff Johnson owns both sides of the road; the court closed the public hearing and approved the closure by motion.
The court also considered and approved multiple replat requests: replatting Lots 31 and 32 in Town Creek Estates into Lots 30R1 and 30R2 for Mike and Tawn Brown, with emergency-management checks confirming adequate lot acreage for septic systems; and replatting Lot 17 in Oakcrest Section 2 into two lots, 17R1 and 17R2, for Trinidad and Patricia Muniz. Commissioners discussed acreage, septic feasibility and signatory logistics for plats and approved the motions.
Judge recorded the approvals by voice vote and directed staff to finalize the plats.
