During the consent-item presentation staff summarized that the Crown Castle leases would permit installation and operation of county equipment on tower sites under initial seven-year terms with four renewal options. Agenda figures listed monthly payments including $4,050 for the North Bell County site, $3,395 for the Hill Academy location, and $2,395 for the Killeen site; the amounts were recorded on the consent packet and treated as budget items for FY25. The court moved and approved the consent agenda by voice vote.
The consent bundle also included annual approvals such as certification of court reporter pay and the county—s investment policy for FY25. No commissioner requested separate consideration of those items during the meeting.
