A budget amendment to fund an overlap in the contract management/manager position from Oct. 16, 2024, through Dec. 31, 2024, at an estimated cost of $34,493 was also included in the approved items.
One consent item — the BLGY Architecture feasibility study for the Bell County Juvenile Center (listed as item f, cost not to exceed $106,750) — was pulled from the package at the request of a commissioner for separate discussion and vote. The court completed the remaining scheduled business and moved on to consider that contract separately.
The court adjourned the regular meeting and planned to convene a staff workshop shortly thereafter.
