Employee handbook updates: Trustees approved updates to leave for disability and insurance/benefits sections of employee handbooks to reflect the district's move to self‑funded health insurance effective Jan. 1, 2025. The motion to approve was made by Trustee Henschel and seconded by Trustee Godfrey; roll call was unanimous.
Emergency preparedness manual: The board approved the district emergency preparedness manual, which administration said must be submitted under 2017 Wisconsin Act 143 and accompanying state statutes. Mr. Groves noted the crisis team and that the manual contains no substantive changes to response plans. The motion carried 7‑0.
Safety drill evaluations: Trustees accepted written safety drill evaluations from each school, which administration said document compliance with mandatory drill schedules and provide feedback for crisis‑team review. Motion carried 7‑0.
Each approval was recorded in the meeting roll calls. No item was tabled or failed at the meeting.
