Committee approves short-term rental ordinance, will set fees via county fee schedule

Staff explained that the full county board adopts the county-wide fee schedule, and the committee agreed it is acceptable to approve the ordinance now and forward fee amounts to the county-wide fee schedule process.
A committee member moved to approve the ordinance; the motion was seconded and passed by voice vote. Committee members asked staff to provide the proposed fee figures so the committee and the county board can review them in December when the fee schedule is considered.
