Committee seeks volunteers for Board of Adjustments, nominates representative to regional association

Members recommended advertising openings in the local paper, on the county website and by e-mailing county board members to identify interested candidates. The committee discussed eligibility and the role volunteers play in variance requests and appealed the importance of appointing people who will perform the duties.
Separately, the committee nominated and approved Craig as the county committee's representative to the Southern Area Association of land conservation, with a staff member to serve as the alternate when needed. Members voted in favor by voice; the transcript records 'aye' votes but not roll-call tallies.
