The Barron County Board on July 22 approved a resolution authorizing the county to enter into a settlement agreement with the Kroger Company and to accept Addendum 2 to the related memorandum of understanding that allocates settlement proceeds.
Jeff, in the meeting packet, and County-level participants noted the matter had been discussed at the Wisconsin Counties Association level. Supervisor Bob Anderson moved the resolution and Supervisor Cook seconded. Supervisors voted 28-0 in favor. The county will accept settlement proceeds under the agreed addendum and proceed with the allocation terms as presented in the meeting materials.
