The City of Oconomowoc Common Council on Dec. 30 unanimously approved nine resolutions accepting petitions for direct annexation of parcels on and near Lisbon Road, North Lake Road and Brown Street.
Mister Frey (role not specified) presented maps and identified the parcels, saying the agenda included nine separate resolutions and that accepting the petitions is "a statutory step that we have to take as part of the annexation process." He named parcels associated with Miller, Rosenau/Cedar Home Farms, two Driscoll parcels, Hallet, Dehn, Slife, Krenz and Woodview Preserve (Matt Newman). Frey noted one Driscoll parcel is "about 1 acre." The council indicated the packet and maps were clear and offered no further questions before voting.
The council then considered each resolution individually. Motions were made and seconded for every item; roll calls recorded aye votes from the five aldermen present (Aldermen Rosick; Altman Cloth; Mulder; Shellpepper; and Maroney) and each petition was approved. The board earlier recorded Aldermen Douglas and Spiegelberg as excused and Alderman Aldous as not present.
Resolutions approved included (as stated in the meeting):
• Resolution accepting petition for direct annexation for Cedar Home Farms (parcel IDs cited in the agenda).
• Resolutions accepting petitions for two Driscoll parcels at West 360 North (addresses given as 6289 and 6255 Brown Street in the record).
• Resolution accepting petition for Woodview Preserve LLC on Lisbon Road.
• Resolution accepting petition for Hallet properties at West 359 North, 5744 and 5760 Brown Street (parcel IDs listed in the record).
• Resolution accepting petition for Justin and Audrey Slife property on Elizabeth Road.
• Resolution accepting petition for a current property on Lisbon Road (OCOT 0539.994.002 as stated).
• Resolution accepting petition for Robert Miller L and M Enterprises property on North Lake Road (parcel IDs cited).
• Resolution accepting petition for Danan and Sampson property on Lisbon Road (parcel IDs cited).
Each item was described by staff as part of the statutory annexation process; the agenda and staff memo were treated by the council as sufficient background and no substantive debate or amendments were recorded. The meeting closed after the final vote and an adjournment motion. The staff presentation and the recorded motions identify the items accepted; the transcript does not specify next administrative steps or cite a particular state statute by number.
