Board members discussed line-item shifts in the draft plan: Speaker 4 noted landscaping consumes roughly $30,000, while marketing funds were held pending strategic planning outcomes. Board members emphasized readiness for facade grant recipients after repeated rollovers: Speaker 4 explained some projects require more time and the board should ensure grantees are prepared before issuing funds.
The board approved the 2025 operating plan by voice vote. Members also agreed to move one 2025 meeting date from April 8 to April 15 because April 8 coincides with an election; the change was moved and seconded and approved. Other calendar items, including flexibility around July 4 and a proposed November date change, were discussed but left for future scheduling decisions.
The board did not set a new assessment rate at the meeting; the proposal to raise the rate will be considered as part of strategic planning and community outreach.
