The West Bend Plan Commission on July 2 agreed to set a public hearing for August 6, 2024 on a comprehensive plan map amendment affecting roughly 9.64 acres at 2320 Sullivan Way.
Planning staff introduced the request, saying the recommended land-use map currently shows most of the parcel as industrial but a northern portion was designated commercial after a 2021 certified survey map. The proposed map amendment would make the parcel consistent with existing industrial zoning to the east and south. Staff said the applicant would pursue a rezoning from B-4 General Business/Commercial or Warehousing District to M-3 Planned Business Park District as a follow-up step if the plan amendment proceeds.
Commissioners set the hearing for Aug. 6 at 6:00 p.m. Staff noted the rezoning and subsequent site-specific reviews would follow the public‑hearing process and City Council consideration.
