Council approves multiple licenses, Red Parrot ownership transfer and Boku Cafe event date change
Summary

At the start of the meeting, the council convened as the Board of License Commissioners and approved several license matters on the consent calendar.
The council amended and approved a date change for a Class F daily liquor license for Boku Cafe LLC — moving the event date from Dec. 6, 2024, to Jan. 25, 2025 — and approved the consent calendar including that and other renewals. The council held a public hearing and approved the application to transfer ownership of the Red Parrot restaurant's Class B‑V alcoholic beverage license to 348 Thames Opco LLC, subject to bills of indebtedness being satisfied, and separately approved a new indoor entertainment license for the Red Parrot for daily entertainment from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Council also approved the 2024–25 annual vending and liquor license renewals and a pedicab business license renewal for Cap and John's Pedicabs, LLC. There were no public objections reported for the Red Parrot items and the motions carried unanimously.
These approvals were taken as part of the Board of License Commissioners and recorded as carried in the meeting minutes.
