In other business, the council authorized RFPs for Town Hall HVAC replacement (to be funded through the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant program) and issued RFP direction for custodial services for Town Hall, the ice rink and DPW.
Gene Allen and ice rink director TJ Tully provided project and bid details. The infield-mix purchase was tabled at the director's request. The council also authorized a 60‑day RFP to reoffer town property at 321 George Washington Highway after a prior sale fell through.
