Oakley council approves Midwest Energy underground easement at airport

Council Member Russ moved to approve the easement; Council Member Lisa seconded. The council voted unanimously to grant the easement.
The approval authorizes Midwest Energy to install underground facilities along the north edge of the airport property; the council did not attach special conditions during the meeting. Staff did not identify required follow-up steps or a construction timetable during the discussion.
The council moved on to other agenda items after the vote.
