Chief Ford said the town’s medical control director, Dr. Lowell, reviewed the app and indicated he would use it in the emergency department. Council members voiced support for funding the tool, citing the difficulty of calculating pediatric doses during emergency response. The motion to approve the expenditure carried by voice vote, recorded as 6 to 0.
