Manager Perillo said a draft scope and budget were provided to council members the same day and asked the council to ratify his signature on the grant agreement so staff can proceed. "We recently received a grant from the Rhode Island Infrastructure Bank through Rhode Island Housing for approximately $730,000 to make upgrades to the Woodland Manor pump station," Perillo told the council.
Council members confirmed the grant is a straight grant without a town match, discussed the contract and reporting timeline (funds to be spent by December 2026), and voted to ratify the manager’s signature and acceptance of the grant by roll call (7‑0). Staff will return with contract documents and a budget for final administrative steps.
